It is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs. It is related to the similar task of using computers to understand human intelligence, but AI does not have to confine itself to methods that are biologically observable. We may define intelligence as the computational part of the ability to achieve goals in the world. Varying kinds and degrees of intelligence occur in people, many animals and some machines.

EOR is a developer of products that utilize approaches to AI based on connectionism and neural nets, a learning of laws expressed in logic. Products learn what facts or behaviors can represent, and provide an internal efficiency that allows adaptation to shifts in data and methodologies. In security this allows EOR products to both adapt to and anticipate incidents and their vectors. EOR is expanding the AI product line to include intelligence products for military application in areas unique to high threat, special operations, and asymmetric environments.
